Where Solo Queue Came From
The “queue” part is just the matchmaking line. You press play, the system puts you in a lobby. Queue alone and you’re in solo queue: no premade party, no duo partner, nobody whose comms you can actually trust.

It’s also where the pros live. The best players on the planet still grind thousands of solo queue games a year, because scrims end but the ladder never closes. Streamers built entire careers broadcasting their climbs, full tilt and all.
