Tilt
A state of frustration that causes poor decisions and worse performance.
Sweat
A player who tries extremely hard to win, even in casual game modes.
Smurf
A highly skilled player using a low-ranked account to dominate beginners.
Pog
An expression of excitement and amazement at an impressive play.
Noob
A new or inexperienced player, often used as an insult.
Nerf
A game update that makes a character, weapon, or ability weaker.
Meta
The most effective strategies and tactics currently dominant in competitive play.
Griefing
Intentionally ruining the game experience for teammates or opponents.
GG
Good Game — the universal sign of sportsmanship typed at the end of a match.
Frag
A kill or elimination of an enemy player, originating from military slang.
EZ Clap
An arrogant way to say 'easy win' after dominating a match.
Cooked
Completely outplayed, defeated, or out of options.
Clutch
Winning against impossible odds, usually as the last player alive.
